A Day of Prayer for Hispanic Ministry leaders was offered at the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth on Saturday September 16th sponsored by the Office of Hispanic Affairs with the theme “Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while” (Mc. 6:31).
Fr. Frank Kaminski, S.J. presented three reflections throughout the day:
- Resting in the Lord,
- Encountering Silence and Solitude
- Living in the Presence of God.
The day provided opportunities for silent and personal prayer, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and a closing liturgical prayer. Participants benefited from the engaging presentations and the opportunities of silent prayers and peaceful environment during the day and felt spiritually recharged to continue their pastoral missionary ministry in their parish communities.
