Lebanese Franciscan Sisters of the Cross Renew Gratitude for the Generosity of Diocesan Schools

Sister Marie Makhlouf, General Superior of the Lebanese Franciscan Sisters, wrote a letter to Fr. Stephan Isaac, Assistant Pastor of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown and Chaplain of Allentown Central Catholic High School, thanking Allentown Central Catholic High School and all Diocesan Schools. She found herself moved by the donations and gifts collected from amazing students and offered to their Congregation.

"Since you never tire of giving," she wrote, "as long as your heart is filled with love, wanting to live spontaneously following the example of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus who never ceased to repeat: 'to love is to give everything, and to give oneself.' Yes, I'm truly convinced of your total self-giving!"

"Dear friends, in the name of every Sister in our Congregation, and in the name of our patients, I renew to you my great gratitude, asking God, to crown your contributions with the fruits of holiness, accompany every step of yours, and bestow upon you abundant blessings, so that you remain a witness of joy, through the intercession of our Founder Blessed Abouna Yaacoub."
