Council of Stewards Invoke Holy Spirit at Evening Prayer

The Council of Stewards prayed together on Nov. 19 during Evening Prayer at St. Mary, Kutztown.

Members of the council have made a gift of $500 or more to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal and other diocesan ministries that benefit people of all faiths.

“I am so appreciative for your support in helping the Diocese offer outreach to those in need,” said Bishop of Allentown Alfred Schlert.

There are four circles in the Council of Stewards: Circle of Faith, $500-$999; Circle of Hope, $1,000-$2,499; Circle of Charity, $2,500-$4,999; and Bishop’s Circle, $5,000 and over.

Stewards recite a prayer imploring the Holy Spirit to guide them in their desire to support parishes, schools and other diocesan ministries.

Bishop Schlert thanks Noel and Magaly Gonzalez, parishioners of St. Paul, Allentown, for their support of ministries and programs operated by the Diocese of Allentown.
