Bishop's talk description:
“Surrendering to Christ – Forgiveness as a path to freedom”
So often, when we are hurt by someone, we are tempted to hold onto resentment. In doing so, we remain confined within the walls of unforgiveness, and are unable to experience the blessing of Love that God wishes to give us. Our Lord offers us a path to freedom. This address will show us the way that the Lord has taught us.”
De's Bio:
De Yarrison of You Are Made New Ministry coaches men and women along the journey to spiritual and emotional freedom. The heart of her work is facilitating healing encounters with the Lord that lead to resolution of early wounding, past traumas and their adverse effects, so we can live more freely in the present, rooted in our identity as God’s beloved ones.
In addition to coaching, she offers healing retreats, co-led by Father Stephen DeLacy of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, as well as deliverance prayer ministry. De has witnessed again and again the healing power of our Lord’s immense Love and His ardent desire to, not only free and restore each one of His children, but to truly make us new.
Along with her sister, Laura Ercolino, De manages Hope’s Garden, a Catholic women’s community with 1,100+ members in 25 different countries, whose mission it is to guide individuals to the healing spousal love of Christ the Bridegroom.
De's talk's description:
Talk #1 The Path to Inner Healing
Our Lord does not want us merely “coping” or perpetually managing anxiety or other adverse patterns of emotion. He has come to make all things new! In this talk, De will shed light on the connection between present day adverse habits of mind, emotion and behavior, with our upbringing. She will guide us to encounter the Lord interiorly, where He awaits us and longs to restoration and healing to our hearts,.
Talk #2 Forgiveness and the Unburdening Process
We will look at the spiritual impacts of our early life experiences and how to unburden ourselves from the identity lies that may have taken root. We will spend time exploring the power of forgiveness, including common reasons (myths) as to why we do not forgive, and the freedom gained when we immerse ourselves is the Lord’s ocean of mercy.
Our day will conclude with a peaceful scripture meditation, immersing ourselves in the truth of our identity as God's beloved daughters.
