Parish Contributions to the Diocese
Most of the money you give in your parish weekly collection stays with your parish.
About one dollar in six (15.7 percent) is forwarded by your parish to the Diocese. It is out of that one dollar that the Diocese pays its operations costs, including salaries for administrative employees, and the cost of running Diocesan programs.
